Why we started.
A team that lived cloud sprawl from the inside, building the layer they wished existed.
ZopDev was founded in 2024 by a team that had spent years inside large engineering organizations, fixing cloud messes for Fortune 500 companies, watching teams struggle with DevOps bottlenecks and scaling issues that slowed innovation.
The pattern was always the same. A new project meant weeks of YAML, scripts, security reviews, and observability stitching before a single line of product code shipped. Multi-cloud meant the same problem multiplied by every provider in the stack. The compliance review at the end almost always sent the team back to start.
